I have been staying at this hotel for the past 4 years pretty regularly between business and family holidays, it started out with business. I stopped my family in for 1 day during a Disney holiday last year to stop in and visit my customer and my family did not allow us to leave after 1 day . This year we came back for a full week. My daughter wrote a letter to the maids telling them how much she loved the Tamarack. My wireless works on the patio when I am here on business! watching dolphins and writing a trip report in the morning – amazing. The manager of the hotel asks me for feedback as I have stayed frequently and every time I come back there are improvements related to that feedback (not that there is much room for many).
For the kids, they have a games room, movies, DVD players in the rooms, a heated salt water pool with an adult and children’s hot tub. for business I love it, the staff remember me and make me feel very welcome when I return and I have a dream work area with all of my needs accommodated. For my family vacation, our kids keep telling us how much they love us! that sums up their opinion for me. I have been and will continue to strongly recommend the Tamarack as a Great place to stay when in California. BTW, it is directly across the street from a great beach… and there is tons of great shopping very close by as well and home of Legoland.
